2018 Registration Info.

Spring/Summer Registration Fees for all players, by division:
 

  • Senior Varsity, ages 17 to 19 (1999 to 2001) – $800 ( $750.00 Paid to SMFA, $50.00 Paid directly to National Registry)
  • Junior Varsity, ages 15 to 16 (born 2002 to 2003) – $800 ( $750.00 Paid to SMFA, $50.00 Paid directly to National Registry)
  • Bantam, ages 13 to 14 (born 2004 to 2005) – $800 ( $750.00 Paid to SMFA, $50.00 Paid directly to National Registry)
  • Peewee, ages 11 and 12 (born 2006 to 2007) - $600 ( $550.00 Paid to SMFA, $50.00 Paid directly to National Registry)
  • Atom, ages 9 to 10 (born 2008 to 2011) - $600 ( $550.00 Paid to SMFA, $50.00 Paid directly to National Registry)

 ## If Player supplies Jerseys* from 2017 Season they will receive a $100 discount.

* Returning Player at each division will be given number if 2 players had same number in previous year.

IF FEES ARE PAID IN FULL BEFORE FEBRUARY 3RD 2018 (VIA E-TRANSFER Only) , PAY 2017 RATES (SEE SECTION BELOW FOR 2017 FEES) PLUS TAKE A $100 DISCOUNT IF 2017 JERSEY'S  WILL BE USED.

National Registry – All players

***All players must also complete Football Canada's online  Player Registration.  For new 2018 registrations, the cost is $50.00  ($39 OFA and $11 Football Canada). For players registered in the summer, there is no fee again in the fall.
A credit card is needed to complete the registration. If you do not own a credit card, a prepaid Visa or Mastercard will work in the system. 
For returning players, your access code for the National Registry is the same as for online club registration.
You would register as a Tackle player for Scarborough Minor Football.

Payment Plans:

Payments plans are assessed on a case by case basis. Please come to in-person registration to ask questions on payment plans or email info@scarboroughthunderfootball.com to have the Treasurer contact you to discuss. (ALL Payment Plants require a $200 Deposit at registration and the 1st of each Month, starting March 1st, a payment of $200 MUST be made to keep in good standing)
We encourage parents and guardians who qualify to apply for funding from JumpstartKidsport, and/or Just4kics .

  • Bantam, ages 13 to 14 (born 2003 to 2004) – $730
  • Peewee, ages 11 and 12 (born 2005 to 2006) - $535
  • Atom, ages 9 to 10 (born 2007 to 2008) - $535
  • Tyke, ages 6 to 8 (born 2009 to 2011) - $420

All divisions are competitive.
House league or flag programs are not currently available for Spring/Summer 2017.
Players of any experience level are welcome for any of the Divisions.


Online Player Registration 

***This is the preferred method to register.***
  • You can pay the full registration fee, make a partial payment of $200.00 or opt to pay in person.
  • Select the division based on the player's birth year, or the partial payment option.
  • A $3 service charge will be added to payments made online.
  • Copies of 2 pieces of ID for the player will be required to complete your registration (e.g. birth certificate, passport, student ID).
  • Click here to download a registration form to complete and bring with your first practice.
  • If you have previously registered online, the confirmation email which you received would have included your access code. If you have forgotten your access code and cannot find it, and cannot obtain or remember your access code, please click here to have it sent to you.


In-person Player Registration:

Refundable Equipment Deposit

In addition to the registration fees, a $100 equipment deposit by cash or e-transfer is due prior to equipment handout. No other forms or payment are accepted for deposits.
The equipment deposit will be reimbursed by cheque when you return your equipment at the end of the season.
The deposit must be paid before equipment is provided to the player.


Time commitment:

Players will generally have 2 practices per week, along with 1 game day during the competitive season, which starts around the end of May.
