All Teams on the Road in Week 2

This week our Tyke team opens the season against Metro at Esther Shiner Stadium while the Atoms open the season against Etobicoke followed by the Peewees. All 3 OVFL teams travel out to Ottawa University to take on Myers. Good Luck and check the calendar for bus and kick off times. 

 Please note Friday Nights 6:30pm - 8:30pm  will be the only night to get your Game Jerseys and swag packages. Due to time constraints and having to finalize game day rosters we will NOT be changing Jersey Numbers during the handout Friday.

All 4 Teams playing, win in Season Openers!

All 4 teams that were playing Saturday came away with wins on the Road. The Bantams started off with a HUGE 60-0 blowout in Hamilton in their OVFL Season Opener while our Peewee team was handling business in Oshawa, beating the Hawkeyes 48-6  in OMFL Action. Back in Hamilton the JV team handed the Ironmen another shutout with a 45-0 win in the second OVFL matchup of the day. The senior Varsity team capped off the OVFL action in Hamilton completing the sweep in a 28-14 win. Congratulations to all players and Staff, Great way to start the season.

Giving Kids a sporting Chance! Canadian Tire Jumpstart

Who Jumpstart funds is simple: Kids. Kids who want to get active. Kids who want to learn a new sport or activity. Kids who want to keep up with a sport or activity they already enjoy. But these kids just need a little extra financial help to get their name on the roster. Kids aged 4 to 18 from families in financial need can receive funding to help with registration fees, equipment and/or transportation.

OVFL Season kicks off May 20th.

The 2017 OVFL season kicks off May 20th and all 3 Thunder teams will be heading to Hamilton to take on the Ironmen at Ron Joyce Stadium (McMaster University) Bus and Game times will be posted in the schedule shortly. Good luck to all Teams! 

New Look for Thunder

Thunder reaches back to its roots for its new look!

Thunder has gone back to its original logo and found inspiration in the Lightning Bolt to bring a new look to the Organization. The new Logo incorporates the Toronto Skyline with the Lightning Bolt and a football. Look for more changes in the upcoming season!
